I happened to call our social worker today, and she happened to fill me in on the fact that our file was sent to the Inspector's office about two weeks ago. It's not yet been assigned to an inspector, and they won't be able to finish things until the fingerprints of babysitters are done (scheduled for later this month), but it's there! Slowly but surely things are progressing.
Interesting to note that we apparently need to get inspected by the end of May, or most of our paperwork will expire and we'll have to re-do a lot of it. Interesante.
That's the adoption update!
