The judge ruled yesterday that J and F will stay with us for a few more weeks, until the next court date in early Septemeber, so DYFS has some time to check out F's dad and ensure his ability to parent these children. We're relieved that they're taking the time to do this and feel it will be a bit easier to let them go knowing that they're going to someone who has been thoroughly investigated. J seems to be fine with the decision, not much of a reaction from her when we told her.
So we're in the parenting world for a few more weeks, at least!
