"Praise for NJ Child Welfare System"

Well, this is good news! At least there have been improvements in the department and things are getting better for the kids in the system! Let's keep hoping things continue in this positive fashion!

Praise for N.J. child-welfare reforms

New Jersey has made significant progress in reforming its child-welfare services, a court-appointed monitor of the Department of Children and Families said today.
In a report released this morning, the independent monitor praised the once-troubled agency for moving more foster children into permanant homes and for licensing more adoptive and foster parents, among other improvements.
