We Were So Blessed...

We were so blessed with so many gifts at the shower...here are some!
My aunt and uncle sent us the portable crib so we can keep it in MA for when we come home to visit. I was so excited to see the crib bedding we picked out for our full-sized crib! Thanks Mom K, Matt & Ginny!
My diaper bag! Yeah, Vera! DD spoiled me with this one! I just keep taking it out of the box and looking at it...ooooh....soooo pretty....
This is the pile of books and stuffed animals we were given at the shower! We're going to hang some shelves on the wall and create a reading corner.
What meant the most was reading everyone's kind and encouraging words to us. I'm creating a scrapbook to keep all the cards in, to remind us how much we're loved, and to show our child the huge network of family and friends who already love her (or him!). We were also given a LOT of money in giftcards and cash. Thank you!!
Our shower invitation...it was a story book theme...everyone knows how important reading is to Michael and I. They also had everyone write their own stories of us when we were kids, which is going into a scrapbook for our children. What a great idea! I can't wait to read them all!
