House Inspection!

Just a quick adoption update, the email we just sent to some of you:

Hello dear Family and Friends!

Mike and I wanted to briefly sent out an update on our adoption process, as so many of you have been wonderfully supportive. We have been waiting since February to get our house inspected, which is the last step to becoming a licensed "DSS" approved home. This inspection has been scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m.! We would really appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we finish preparing the house tonight and go through the inspection tomorrow. We're confident the house will pass, but we've been warned that "you never know what they might decide is a big deal". So, pray with us that NOTHING will be a "big deal"!

After we get licensed, we'll be on the official waiting list for an infant! In the meantime, we'll be able to accept foster children of any age, which excites us as we do want to be able to be available to UrbanPromise kids as they need places to stay. Our dream of being foster parents is coming alive, and Mike and I are thrilled!
