just had a minute to jump online and wanted to post quickly. things with extreme home makeover are going great...today they do the whole marching down the street and getting pumped up and starting the clock, then they have 100 hours to complete the house. billy joe and his family were notified on saturday (by Ty's megaphone, i'm sure!) and sent on a trip to spain. they'll be back on sunday for the big unveiling. meanwhile, mike and i start working in the VIP tent tonight and every night this week from 6-9pm to try to get people to donate to UrbanPromise, and to schmooze with the celebs (we hear Bill Cosby is coming on Thursday!). should be a fun week! we hear it'll air sometime in november as a two hour special.
we're all settled into our place already, i'm so glad i have a strong, healthy husband who doesn't complain about work...he worked like crazy on sunday to get us organized and unpacked. i'm becoming more and more grateful for the goodness that is in my husband. God really gave me a gift in him!
