Over dinner at our house this week with Ros, our new friend and long-time director of the East side camp at UrbanPromise and from Northern Ireland:
Ros: ...(telling us about how glad she is that we're here)...it's as if there was a hole here at Urban that was shaped just like the two of you, and we didn't really realize what was missing, but now that you're here, it's full. And not just because Mike is doing a great job at his job, but because the two of you fit in so well with us Directors and because you, Becky, personally for me fill a gap.
Becky: sniffle, sniffle, runs out of the room bawling in desperate need of Kleenex.
Mike: Ros, man, you're making me cry!
Ros: Sheesh, if I knew you people were so emotional I would have just texted it to you! (smiling, with tears in her eyes too)
Becky: (returning to the room) That's exactly what I needed to hear today, Ros, thank you!
Group Hug. Actually, that part didn't happen. We all three just sat smiling at each other.
God has answered another prayer for us in this move: Our need for good Friends.

It's awesome to see God using a place that has always been special to you in order to minister to you yet again. In turn you get to minister to others. Amazing!
